Letters as mirrors of me
AMY LIU
PORTFOLIO

Welcome To My Digital Art Gallery:
"A.M.Y."
As I grow from a little kid to a teenager to who I am now—almost twenty 😭—I’ve realized something: every age stays. I’ve realized that growing older doesn’t mean losing who you are, but becoming more of who you’ve always been.
I’m still seven in the way I get excited too easily, still thirteen in my curiosity, still nineteen when I start overthinking everything. These versions of me overlap and collide, shaping the person I’m becoming.
This gallery is my way of understanding those layers and learning more about myself. And as you move through it, I hope you’ll get to know me a little better too.

PORTFOLIO

A = Amy
“A” reflects the version of myself I show to the world—confident, composed, and intentional. It represents the identity people see first, even though it’s quietly built from every age I’ve ever been.

M = Memory
“M” is about the memories that ground me—my family, my hometown, and the moments that shaped who I was long before I knew who I wanted to become. These people and places still stay with me, no matter how far I go.

Y = Youth
“Youth” captures the playful, imaginative, slightly chaotic version of me that never faded with age. It’s the part that still feels seven years old sometimes—easily excited, full of imagination, and always chasing wonder.

Amy

This final piece brings every part of me together—A, M, and Y—not as separate identities but as one evolving whole. It’s about growing without losing the earlier versions of myself: the confidence I’ve built, the memories that anchor me, and the youthfulness that keeps me open to the world. “AMY” reminds me that all these ages still live inside me, shaping the person I am becoming.
